BRAGANÇA CASTLE

Bragança 2006

In the summer of 2006 I visited with my wife, for the first time, a beautiful city of very up north of Portugal - Bragança. Besides its own beauty, this wonderful city has located in a high hill the well preserved Bragança castle. Here I share with you few pictures of the castle which is worth to visit.

DOURO RIVER

Few years ago, when I was still studying at the University, I use to take the train from Régua-Porto-Régua rather often. Despite the time the trip took, it was a rather interesting and nice trip, specially until the middle of it, where the train goes just close to the river. It was one of those amazing trips that I decided to take pictures. Many memories those pictures bring to me including the very good times I spent with many friends sitting on the train and enjoying (sometimes!) the view. For those who would like to experience this trip, I totally recommend it!

PORTO CITY

Porto 2004-2005

In the next pages I will present a series of places which I have visited. I start with the 'unbeaten' city - Porto.
In the summer of 2004 I did a tour around this beautiful city with my wife. I lived in the city for about 4 years, but this trip was special and gave me another overview of the city. Wonderful!
In June 2005 I had a very interesting meeting of young scientists from all over the Europe at the port wine caves, in the beautiful city of Oporto, Gaia. Those times were very nice and brings me also very nice memories. It feels like yesterday! To all of those brilliant minds that I had the privilege to met my deepest greetings. Nice pictures of the city are shown below.
